Remembering Chef Brad Horen

6888-culinary3The culinary community mourned the sudden passing of Chef Brad Horen in March 2016.

From Sous Chef to Executive Chef, Brad earned his place as one of BC’s most talented Chefs. He was a successful Chef of the Year, Iron Chef competitor, multi-medalist at the Culinary Olympics, winner of countless awards and a multi-year Captain of the Canadian Culinary Team. He served former presidents, famous hockey players and the corporate world’s elite. His contagious laugh & quirky smile will be held dear to our hearts forever. Working across the country he shared the kitchen with many friends, colleagues and peers.

The Okanagan Chefs Association has initiated a fundraising effort to provide a trust for Chef’s small children, Hana and Ana.  He made a great impact in the valley, and the Association wanted to recognize with a trust specifically for the education of his girls.

We have set up a fundraising profile on GoFundMe and you can find all the information at www.gofundme.com/BradHorenOCA or simply click the box below.  Please share among your friends and colleagues.
